OUR MISSION

Working in partnership with a wide range of partners and stakeholders we aim to protect and conserve the archaeology, promote understanding and access, and realise the potential of the historic site to contribute to the social and economic benefit of our local community through local skills development, sustainable tourism development and sense of place.

MEET OUR TRUSTEES

Martin Bell

Trustee since 2013.  Former Planning Officer with interests in history and the environment. 

Daphne Bush

Trustee since 2019, with responsibility for both Fundraising and Publicity.  Town Councillor Pembroke North.  Former County Councillor Pembroke St Mary South.  RNLI Chairman and Press Officer Pembroke Ladies Lifeboat Guild.  A Governor of Gelli Aur Primary School and Ysgol Harri Tudur.  Member of the Pembroke & Monkton Local History Society. 

Elizabeth Gossage

Trustee since 2013.  Former Community Development Officer with Pembroke 21C Community Association, responsible for developing and obtaining funding for several community projects including the Pembroke Story and the Journey Through Time. 

Peter Thomas

Trustee since 2013.  Chair of the Pembroke Civic Trust, a Trustee of the Henry Tudor Trust and a Committee member of the Pembroke Museum.

Adrian James

Elected as a Trustee in May 2021.   Born in Pembroke his family moved to Pennar.  Studied electronic engineering at University of London followed by teacher training at Cardiff.  During vacation work on Castlemartin range, his interest in the history and vernacular architecture of Pembrokeshire was ignited and maintained to this day.  First teaching post was in Suffolk, where he remained for his entire career.  Maintains strong links with Pembrokeshire restoring a listed house in Pembroke Dock

Malcolm White

Elected as a Trustee in May 2021.  A Pembrokeshire resident for 30 years. Retired chemical engineer after 40 years in the oil industry. Passionate about the preservation and restoration of our intellectual and physical history for future generations. Trustee and treasurer of 2nd Pembroke Scouts. Treasurer of Pembroke Scout & Guide Hall, Woodbine Terrace.

Louise Dunlop

Elected as a Trustee in June 2023. Lived in the area all my life. Works full time in the oil industry. Eager to help maintain and keep alive the rich history of our beautiful area.

Pembrokeshire Built Heritage CIC is a Community Interest Company established to undertake the conservation of the built heritage of Pembrokeshire. PTWT CIO is the asset locked body linked to the CIC.
